Diversity Impact Weekend, hosted by FNU’s PRIDE Program, provides students and alumni an opportunity to come back to campus for fellowship, networking and to participate in discussion forums related to increasing diversity in nursing and midwifery. During this weekend workshop, students attend sessions hosted by nationally recognized nursing leaders and participate in teambuilding activities, cultural competency awareness training, and open dialogues. They also have the opportunity to review available student services and attend a wonderfully prepared dinner at Wendover. There is no fee to attend Diversity Impact. Travel stipends up to $500.00 are available to PRIDE participants wanting to attend this event. For more details on this event, please feel free to contact Wilvena.McDowell@frontier.edu, PRIDE Program Coordinator, or review the past Diversity Impact events links on the left hand menu. If you would like to become a PRIDE participant please complete PRIDE Application and email to the PRIDE Program Coordinator.
